SeaPak - Chopped Open Your Basket Franchise
Inspired by Food Network's hit series Chopped --this vignette franchise--Chopped Open Your Basket, organically integrates a sponsor product into a mini episode of Chopped. In this episode, SeaPak™ Shrimp Scampi is is the integrated product. During my career at Food Network, I produced over a dozen Chopped Open Your Basket spots for brands that include: Tyson®, Sargento®, The National Pork Board, Better Than Bouillon®, and Hyundai.
Subaru - Cooking Channel Marketplace Vignette Franchise
This Cooking Channel branded vignette series, "The Marketplace," features an integration with Subaru, organically weaving various angles of the Subaru Outback into a personal story about life on a family farm. This was a fun shoot, as a mobile media village included a barn location with some very feisty chickens.
Disney & Pixar's Coco - Holiday Baking Championship Vignette
Holiday Baking Championship's Lorraine Pascale shares her passion and inspiration, drawing similarities to the character Coco from Disney & Pixar's animated film by the same name. Pre-interviewing Lorraine to write a script in her voice, finding just the right film footage to support her narrative, and sprinkling in B-roll to showcase Lorraine's baking skills - all came together in this evocative spot.
Fox's Ferdinand - Holiday Baking Championship Vignette
Cupcakes get mixed with animation in this custom vignette for Food Network's Holiday Baking Championship series, presenting Fox’s family film, Ferdinand. This seamless integration features a recipe for a bouquet of flower-shaped cupcakes, highlighted by keyable animated characters, inspired by the flower-sniffing bull Ferdinand. My challenge was to turn key recipe steps into catchy copy that flowed into the film footage, and left room for a promotional end-card.
Bank of America - Chopped Vignette
Inspired by Food Network's hit series Chopped, this integrated video with Bank of America takes viewers behind the scenes - featuring a culinary producer, Sara Hormi, on a quest to source unique ingredients for the show's iconic mystery baskets. Pre-interviewing Sara to get her unique POV for the script, and incorporating graphic thought-bubbles to enhance her narrative, made this a standout spot. Placing the BankAmericard on the counter for the end-tag took many takes, to get it just right.
Buick - Food Network Star Vignette Series
Each week for the duration of the Food Network Star season, I produced a Buick integrated on-air and digital spot for the hit series, showcasing interview footage of finalists sharing inspiration on "the road to culinary stardom," set against a backdrop of various angles of the Buick Enclave, while incorporating episodic B-roll to highlight the weekly series. I produced Food Network Star car-integrated vignettes from 2012-2017.
Walmart - Cake Wars Christmas Vignette
This vignette thematically ties the Food Network series, Cake Wars Christmas, to Walmart's priority positioning - homemade food gifts. I worked with the culinary team to develop the snowman cupcake treat recipe, culling it down to the essentials for scripting. Stop-motion made this spot really come to life in the most cute and compelling way.
Disney - Giada at Home Vignette
Giada De Laurentiis shares inspiration, revealing how she found her voice through food and cooking. Integrating footage from Disney's, The Little Mermaid to seamlessly play-off of Giada's personal narrative, along with B-roll of her hit series, this uplifting vignette promotes the film's release on Blu-Ray and Digital. Shot on location in beautiful Malibu, California.
